Brett Boots

Owner Brett's personal training programs come from over 14 years of training himself and training clients from all ages.  His programs come from the "old days" of training in karate, football and boxing.  Brett has taken this experience and expertise in these areas and developed programs that fit into everyday training, lifestyle and functional movements. Brett will give you in 30 minutes, what most will achieve in an hour.  You will be walking out of the gym knowing you have done a workout. Under Brett`s guidance, your session will meet your needs and your fitness level, becoming more challenging as you fitness improves.  Brett wants like you to achieve your goals and feel great about yourself. Firmup Fitness is about what you can achieve, not about what Brett can do or have done.

BRETT's Accomplishments

  • KARATE: Brett started karate in 2000 in Noosa at Karate Budokan under Shihan Wayne Macdonald. Under the guidance of Shihan Wayne, Brett went from being a football player to a martial arts practitioner and in the same year Brett started competing in sports karate kumite. After making the Queensland State Team and attending his first National Karate Championship, Brett's love for karate climbed to even more extraordinary heights.In 2004, Brett was picked to represent Australia and he travelled to Mexico for the World Karate Championships. Before leaving he spent 4 weeks with World Champion Junior Levere, where he spent 4 to 6 hours a day, 7 days a week training. While Brett has gone on to win State Titles, most of all he appreciates the great discipline in life, fitness and the  respect to others that karate has instilled.
  • MMA: Brett has always liked MMA, then he met Chris Haseman. Brett started training twice a week while working with Chris at F-I-T and, over a period of 2 years, his love for the sport has grown to the level it is today. Brett has gone from doing karate / boxing and now, to loving the grappling and MMA methods of training. Brett competed in Chris' MMA Experience, and it has given insight to training. Mixed Martial Arts training will take your fitness to a greater level and give you the confidence to do any thing you put your mind too.
